High Temperature (HT) Air Filters
Most air filters are designed to operate at near ambient temperatures. Both the design and the construction materials require modification to allow for high temperature industrial filtration applications.

In High Temperature (HT) Air Filters, the filter media, gasket, filter frame and all adhesives require modification. HT Air Filters are designed for continuous operation in industrial air filtration applications above 180^oC (356^oF).

HT Air Filters are commonly used on the air intake of process drying ovens, baking ovens, etc. HT filters are Class 1 Fire Rated - Underwriters Laboratories listed Standard 900 for industrial air filtration application.

Grease Filters For Air Filtration
Air filters in cooking ventilation hoods and devices are designed and installed to prevent grease and condensation from collecting on walls, ceilings, fire suppression piping and from dripping into food or onto food surfaces.

All hoods should comply with an ANSI accredited certification program and be designed in conformance to the Ventilation Control and Fire Protection Association Bulletin 96, and/or other applicable safety codes.

Metal Washable Grease filters are designed to be permanent and cleanable, and are available in Stainless Steel or Galvanized construction. When the filter is caked or laden with considerable grease, soaking and cleaning with commercial detergent is required.

Baffle-type grease filters are highly efficient flame arresters. Cooking flare-ups are restricted from entering the kitchen exhaust ducts, as the flame cannot effectively follow the airflow pattern through the baffles within the air filter.

Industrial ´Dust Collectors´
General and industrial source-controlled air filtration operations typically use Dust Collector systems. Industrial processes can produce large quantities of airborne particulate pollutants, and reducing these contaminants to acceptable levels is often critical for the safety of personnel and mandatory to meet stringent emission regulations.

Industrial dust collector air filtration systems must usually remove very fine particulates from commercial & industrial processes, and are often custom designed for a given application. Dust collector designs range from small, commercial units to large industrial air filtration systems that may even remove toxic ´dust´.

Very Fine Particulates
The ability of a filter to remove particles in different size ranges is usually assessed by MERV rating.

Complete removal of very fine particulates in industrial cleanroom, electronic, pharmaceutical and other specialized manufacture requires air filtration with MERV rating from 17 to 20. Thus, HEPA filters are specifically recommended for fine particulate type industrial air filtration.

High Velocity Air Filtration
´High Velocity´ (HV) or ´Gas Turbine´ (GT) air filters are designed to operate in high velocity and turbulent air applications, where standard pleated filters would fail. By "beefing up" the construction of a standard pleated filter, the HV or GT filter can withstand considerably more airflow, as required in many industrial air filtration applications.
